On the street: Martin's table

„Kaj pa je ta luknja?“ vpraša gospa, ki je hodila po ulici, na kateri smo fotografirali.

Vidite, prav to je čar fotografiranja na mestnih poteh – nepričakovana srečanja in vprašanja. Večina mimoidočih na nas gleda z rahlim začudenjem in nasmeškom na obrazu, nekateri se ustavijo in kaj povprašajo.

„To je za kable od računalnika, gospa.“ ji razložimo, med tem ko Dean pripravlja svojo fotografsko opremo. „Ah jaz tega nimam, ne rabim teh reči,“ zamahne in odide.

Še dobro, da mize nismo oblikovali in izdelali zanjo.  // 

“What's this hole on the desk?“ asked the old lady passing by, while we were setting up the table for the shooting. 

Moment's like this are the reason we use the streets as our photography studio – unexpected encounters and questions. People passing by look at us with amusement, some stop and enquire about our little endeavor.

„This is a hole for the cables that come with the computer, madam“ we answer, while Dean prepares his camera. „I don't have a computer, I don't need that,“ she replies and proceeds on her way. 

Good thing we didn't design and manufacture the desk for her.

Martinova miza je bila sicer kar zahtevna za izdelavo, a užitek, ko lahko z razdalje gledaš na končan izdelek je neopisen. / It was quiet demanding to manufacture Martin's desk, but looking at the finished product from a distance repays the effort completely.
